Chakib Ararou is a literary translator born in Rabat (Morocco) in 1992. He is an alumnus of the Ecole Normale Supérieure (Paris, France) and is currently conducting his PhD research on modern Arabic literature. Specialising in 20^th and 21^st century Moroccan literature and in the sociology of writers in the Arab-speaking area, he currently teaches at Aix-Marseille University (France).
