Dar Mim was founded in 2007 in Algeria. It is a general publisher, producing 10 titles per year in fiction and non-fiction as well as a few works in translation. Since its inception, Mim Edition and its authors have won a number of national and international literary awards, including the Presidential Award (National Level), Al-Tayeb Salih International Award, the Katara Prize, the Sharjah Prize, and the International Prize for Arabic Fiction.
