The independent Editions Toubkal was founded in 1985. The essence of its work lies in human and social sciences and philosophical essays. The majority are written directly in Arabic, while a significant number of titles are translated from French. Editions Toubkal publishes books in Arabic and in bilingual editions—Arabic/French and Arabic/Spanish. Editions Toubkal actively participates in promoting an original and critical reflection that is open to modernity.
