Coline Houssais is a translator, writer and researcher specialising in the cultural history of North African and Middle Eastern presence in Western Europe, as well as in music from the Arab world. A former resident of the Camargo Foundation, Institut Français and IMéRA, Coline teaches at Sciences Po. Among her recent publications are Musiques du Monde Arabe – une anthologie en 100 artistes (Le Mot et le Reste, 2020) as well as an upcoming essay on Arab writers and intellectuals in Paris (Actes Sud).
