Founded as a printing company in 1988, today, Dar Al Hadara is specialised in modern Arabic literature, mainly novels and poetry, with literature accounting for about 60% of the house’s new titles. Al-Hadara also publishes works on politics, philosophy and university textbooks. Just over a decade ago, they began a project to republish rare books on ancient Egypt, a project that continues to this day.
